Weekly Willy Update (WWU) July 25, 2008
This is going to be a short update, but first off, below is a picture of me showing off my real life CTF skills over the weekend.

Clan News, Info, and Events…
There is not too much clan news this week. I should have put most of the stuff that you just read under the clan news heading but I didn’t so oh well.
• I still want to play a COD4 clan match or at least I think it would be fun.
• Also, I still want to have CE United present: Master Kart 08 clan/gaming night. I still need to talk to LastDesertF0X to see how the 3 Master Kart maps are coming below more details can be released. For Master Kart, just think Mario Kart but it’s in a Halo 3 environment and you get to race on Mongooses and Worthogs, it’s a lot of fun! More to come!!!
• CE United will be sending an invite/challenge to Bungie soon to throw down in a Hump Day Challenge (hopefully). We are ready and wanting to finally clash swords or BRs with our maker.
Gaming NEW5 post E3…
Bungie was going to release info on a new game they are working on but it turns out Microsoft pulled it from E3 then we found out it was a new Halo game. I hope it is either a prequel or maybe a game where it’s from the prospective of one of the Marians (hopefully in this case we can be a Hell Jumper ^_^). Maybe it will be more a realist title along the lines of COD4 meets Halo (SWEET)! Well, we don’t know yet, these are just my hopes and dreams.
For anymore daily news or updates just check out http://kotaku.com/ or http://www.joystiq.com/ because there is a lot of E3 news to cover and this is the easy way to cover it I guess. On a side note, E3 08 seemed to far short of last year’s expectations.
Willy’s Rant of the Week (WRotW)
This week’s WRotW topic is about girls who game. I packed my Wii and headed out on a read trip to go to a wedding; little did I know I just packed my very own demise inside of that laptop bag. I played against some of the two best girls I have ever seen play Super Smash Bros. They were so good almost to the point where I didn’t want to play anymore and I would just let S4iNT or LastDesertF0X take my place seeing how there were 5 of us and only 4 could play at a time.
It wasn’t all bad; I did manage to win a few games as Meta Knight and Luigi (just barely though). It was a lot of fun playing even though they schooled me and they don’t even own a Wii which is depressing for me L. I guess my point in all is girl gamers don’t get enough credit when they play video games. They have true skills and most of the time I think it is just hidden and they don’t even know it until they unleash it on unsuspecting gamers like myself. I think it is very cool when girls play video games but when they beat you over and over that just goes to show that girls can play games to and win which is cool.
We tried to convince them to buy a 360 sometime soon so we could teach them to be good at Halo 3 as well. Maybe one day, they will be in our clan and be great members but who knows.
