Weekly Willy Update (WWU) August 1, 2008
Welcome back everyone! Wow, it’ August 1st already and school will be starting in less than a month (wow that sucks)! On a good note, only 23 more days until my birthday (I will be 21)!
Quick note regarding the WWU’s, from now on when we do clan match write ups I will not include them inside of the WWU. I will just post them on our forum and I will put the link to the write up in the WWU instead of posting everything all in one long blog.

Clan matches galore, we are going to be playing in another clan match this Thursday but this clan match is with a twist. This will be CE United's first clan REMATCH! It’s against C1nder, they challenged us to a rematch shortly following our last rumble with them and we decided to accept. Finally, a clan that goes by the name of VAHOMA (http://www.VAHOMA.com) has challenged CE United to a match and that is scheduled for Friday August 8th. GO CEU!!!
Gaming News…
Some very good news for Xbox LIVE arcade fans, two really cooling looking games are coming out in AUGU5T. The first one being a game I have been looking forward to for a long time. CASTLE CRASHERS!!!! YUS! Castle Crashers is made by the same people who made Alien Hominid which was also a very fun game where you play as yellow alien trying to escape the FBI. Think similar to Contra but you are yellow alien instead. It was fully 2D and so much fun, classic 2D shooters, can’t beat-em.
But anyways, Castle Crashers is a 2D Beat 'em up release set in medieval times where you can choose from 4 different colored knights and you go around beating people up.
It comes out August 27th so download it!
The 2nd game is Bionic Commando: Rearmed. It’ a remake of the original Bionic Commando for the NES but with updated graphics and game play. Download this release as well.
It comes out August 13th
Willy’s Rant of the Week (WRotW)
This week’s WRotW topic is about hype for any thing whether it’s for a game, movie, or anything. One example of this is Too Human for the Xbox 360. This game had so much hype about it and even I was saying this game would be really good. When the demo released on Xbox LIVE I played it and I was truly disappointed. It reminded me of Phantasy Star Online meets Diablo or something in between that which is not fun. I mean maybe later on this game will be fun but the demo was not fun at all. I thought the action was too slow and I don’t really know how else to describe it. Oh well at least Resident Evil 5 looks SWEET. Wo0t!
