Weekly Willy Update (WWU) for the week of October 17, 2008
Welcome back to another wonderful Weekly Willy Update This week has been filled with a lot of gaming news so this weeks WWU gaming news section is going to be filled with a lot of news.
Clan News, Info, and Events…
CE United is planning on doing a Poker Night on Xbox LIVE, with the Texas Hold’em LIVE arcade game. Saturday 10/25/08 @ 5pm (Pacific) / 8pm (Eastern)
Other then that not much else in the clan world happening. We are still planning on having our LAN party with 8-Bit Brigade Halloween weekend.

If the poker game night goes well CEU may host a regular poker night on Xbox LIVE for non members to join with us and play.
Gaming News… (THE LONG VERSION)…………………..
If you have not heard by now Bungie is making another Halo game shockingly called Halo 3 Recon. This time you can play as an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) and it is coming out fall 2009, it is still a FPS not a squad based shooter like we thought.

Xbox 360 dashboard update/Xbox LIVE update coming November 19th
Castle Crashers patch ready to enter M$ certification which mean Castle Crasher won’t crash when you play with your friends. YAY for the Castle Crashers patch that will fix the problems, it’s all up to M$ now.
On the topic of Castles a new Castlevania is coming to the 360 and PS3
Also Tekken 6 is coming to the 360 next fall which surprised the hell out of me.
New Resident Evil 5 Trailer was shown at the Tokyo Game Show
With the topic of zombies Left 4 Dead demo is coming in early November, which I hope this game is a lot of fun and will tide me oven until RE5 comes out. Plus you can kill your friends if they become zombies how can you not love a game that lets you do that.
Also Marvel vs. Capcom 2 might be coming to Xbox LIVE arcade and the PlayStation network store thing. I hope it does, this game is a lot of fun.
Starcraft 2 will be a trilogy with the single player and the first in the trilogy is the Terran then the Zerg campaign and finally Protoss. Which mean it looks like Diablo 3 will come out after Starcraft 2.
Blizzard announced that the 3rd class for Diablo 3 is a Wizard and he looks bad ass and so do his spells.
For all you Half-Life 2 fans out there cough cough LastDesertF0X with a 0. Half-Life 2 Episode 3 won’t come out for awhile maybe May 2009 or later.
Willy’s Rant of the Week (WRotW)
Nothing to really RANT about this week, this week I want to talk about something I think Microsoft is doing good. With the recent Xbox 360 dashboard update coming November 19th. Microsoft is going to be selling discounted 20GB hard drives to the Xbox 360 Arcade owners who won’t have the storage space to download the update. They are going to be selling the 20GB hard drives for a fair and equal price of a dollar a Gig for a total of $20. Or if you want you can get a free 128MB memory card. This offer only applies to Arcade owners I think but I think it is a good idea and makes the 360 Arcade more worth the price to buy now. You can go to this website to see if you are eligible to get this offer for you 360.
So go out and buy a 360 Arcade it is a way better deal now then ever.

Willy’s Weekly Website (WWW)…
This weeks WWW is another fun online game, it is called Spin the black circle. The point of the game is to get a ball into hole to finish the level. It is not as easy as it sounds you have to rotate the level and avoid spikes and fire it is a lot of fun and sort of addicting.
