Weekly Willy Update (WWU) for the week of December 5, 2008

Well we here at CE United hit a little bit of a snag earlier this week, on Tuesday our site went down but now we have it back up and running.  I don’t know why exactly it went down but luckily the problem fixed itself.  So hopefully you have no to trouble reading the WWU this week.

Clan News, Info, and Events…

We will be playing Winged Warriors on Tuesday Dec 9th in a 4v4 clan match expect a clan match recap write-up on our stats page shortly after.

Also I would like to welcome a new member to CE United, he is Legend X II7.
Welcome Legend I hope enjoy it here @ CE United I am sure you will have a lot of fun when you get to game with some of the other members.

Gaming News…

With all the great deals that shoppers had on black Friday last week and even on cyber Monday.  Microsoft wanted to give gamers some deals as well, one of which is the Halo 3 Legendary map pack. You can purchase the legendary maps for only 400 M$ points, now that’s a deal.  This is good news to all those people still do not have the new Halo 3 maps.

Also awhile back I talked about all the online glitches Castles Crashers had and the patch The Behemoth was working on.  Well it is almost here the patch just entered Microsoft certification and should be available to us soon.

Finally there is a Metal Gear teaser image out there teasing of a new metal gear solid game.  From the looks of it Metal Gear Solid 4 might be coming to the 360 at least I hope it does.

The = looks like the 360 power logo to me.

One more bit of gaming news a sequel to COD4: Modern Warfare is coming out next fall.  The name will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 so does this mean the call of duty series is done with using # in their titles.  Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn’t this make it Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 or something like that.  So what will the Call of Duty game after this be called?  COD7 or Call of Duty: World at War again.

Oh well enough ragging on Call of Duty all I know is COD4’s campaign was fun as hell and I can’t wait to play COD: MW2.

No rant this week for me.

Willy’s Weekly Boredom Killer (WWBK)…

This week I have a fun game called Run, it is very simple and fun.  Run is a game where you are a grey alien running down this 3D tunnel and that is all you do.  I think because this game is so simple that is what makes it fun, the music is kind of hypnotic and as you complete more and more levels the game gets harder.  You have to start jumping more holes in the floor and start changing the ground you are walking on by running into the wall and the level rotates 90 degrees.  I got all the way to level 26 and it was a lot of fun.
