First off if you have not read The Warthog Evolution yet I suggest you do a few people seemed to like it, so if you find yourself bored this Christmas Eve spend some time and read it, it might cure your case of the boredoms
Clan News, Info, and Events…
Clan news this week, not much really, our site for the year of 2008 from May until now has gotten over 100,000 hits which blows my mind.
We are in talks with Second-Foundation to play them in a clan match some time in January.
Other then that not much else on the clan front.
Gaming News…
Sorry to all you Fable 2 fans out there but the DLC Knothole Island got delayed until late January.
Resident Evil 5 now has some box art out which looks cool, and also the RE5 demo should be available in America sometime early next year.
Some really cool news this week that is only rumor, but Crackdown 2 might be in development. Some of the people from Realtime Worlds who made Crackdown have started their own gaming studio called Ruffian Games and they may be making Crackdown 2. So the game we all bought just to play the Halo 3 beta, and found out it was fun as hell might be getting a sequel, which is what we all wanted.
Some more good news the Castle Crashers patch got releashed today... YAY finally here is a list of everything that they fixed.
- Saved data loss issues
- Quick Match/Custom Match multiplayer games not working/displaying error messages
- Xbox LIVE games dropping unexpectedly
- Arena Master achievement will now unlock after any mixed arena matches.
- Overall network performance improvements
- A few crash bugs
- NXE related issues
- Max experience cap lifted
- Boomerang exploit is now resolved
- Alien Hominid can now drop the pitchfork!
Willy’s Rant of the Week (WRotW)...
I know I am not the only person that dislikes all this snow we have been getting, I just wish all the snow would go away, or somehow I could give people some snow so they can feel my anger. People say OH I love snow, I wish I had some, in reality sometimes snow really sucks, everyone who lives in places that get snow should know what I am talking about.
Willy’s Weekly Boredom Killer (WWBK)…
This week in the WWBK is a game called Achievement Unlocked, just hearing the name should tell you something. This game is all about unlocking achievements. There are 99 total achievements; there is a list that tells you every single one. It is a lot of fun to mess around with and that is all you do. There are no bosses or levels; you just do things to unlock the achievements.
